I am an environmental scientist and educator with a PhD in physical oceanography and extensive experience translating climate and environmental data into engaging learning experiences. Alongside my research career, I've focused heavily on teaching, curriculum development, and technical training for students and early-career scientists.

I co-developed PyClub, an 8-week afterschool programs that teaches Python through climate and ocean science using real datasets and inquiry-based activities. The program was designed for high school learners and implemented successfully with strong student engagement and feedback. I designed Week 5 of the curriculum and co-led instruction and program development.

I am also a certified Software Carpentry instructor and have led hands-on workshops in Python, scientific computing, and reproducible data workflows for univeristy students and researchers. My education work centers in climate literacy, data literacy, and accessible technical skills for environmental problem-solving.

I'm especially interested in collaborations around climate education, data-driven environmental learning, and modular curricula that can be adapted across classrooms, workshops, and informal education settings.
